Bitumen waterproof offers the possibility to protect a complete roof without joints. The Bitumen system is the most economical EPDM roofing system available and is suitable for a wide variety of buildings. The Bitumen sheets are loosely laid over an acceptable substrate. Rough substrates need to be isolated with an acceptable protective layer. Adjoining sheets have overlapped a minimum of 100mm and the seams are spliced with a self-adhesive to form a watertight membrane and heating system.
